They build the software that powers our platform, the dashboard that recruiters around the world use, and all the other cool things we build and release. We are looking for motivated Software Engineer Interns to join our dynamic team and gain hands-on experience in software development.

We combine I/O Psychology with AI to create an application screening process that gives an opportunity to all candidates to undergo a structured interview. impress.ai has consciously used it to ensure that people were chosen based on their talent, knowledge, and capabilities as opposed to their gender, race, or name.
Internship Program Details
- Role: Software Engineer Intern – Frontend and Backend
- Duration: 3 months – 6 months
- Location: Remote / Interns may be required to come to the office at Kochi as per the manager’s requirement, with the possibility of remote work depending on project needs
- Objective: Provide interns with hands-on experience in different technologies while contributing to projects that support impress.ai’s mission and goals
- Tech stacks: HTML, CSS, Javascript, React js, Python, Django, Postgres
Responsibilities
- Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Write well-designed, testable code
- Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
- Build and integrate new software components into the Impress Platform
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
- Comply with project plans and industry standards
- Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members on projects and initiatives that align with impress.ai’s goals
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance impress.ai’s products and services
- Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, pursuing the last year of studies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated strong interest in programming
- A self-learning attitude with a proactive approach to acquiring new skills and knowledge
