They noticed challenges in candidate experience as well as recruiters having a tough time with a large scale of hiring, the variety of roles, and handling various systems. After immense research, they found a solution in the power of AI and intelligent automation.

The Job:

We are looking for a Client Service Intern to join our support team at impress.ai. In this role, you will assist in handling client and candidate queries related to the platform, learn how to resolve issues efficiently, and gain hands-on experience in customer support operations.

You will work alongside experienced team members while supporting impress.ai’s growing global client base across regions such as the US, Singapore, and India. This internship offers strong learning opportunities, real-world exposure, and the potential for growth for interns who perform well.

Responsibilities:
  • Be part of the client service team that does the following tasks:

    • Support the team in handling client and candidate queries related to the impress.ai platform, aiming to resolve them within defined SLAs.
    • Assist in identifying, tracking, escalating, and following up on issues to ensure timely resolution.
    • Help document support queries, solutions, and workflows for internal knowledge bases.
    • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve candidate support processes.
    • Assist Operations Analysts with documentation, reporting, and day-to-day operational tasks.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to address client and candidate needs effectively.
    • Perform basic troubleshooting for technical issues under team guidance.
    • Analyze support queries to identify patterns and opportunities for process or product improvements.
    • Help maintain accurate records of client interactions and updates in tools like Confluence.
You Bring to the Table:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft or Google tools (Excel/Sheets, Word/Docs, PowerPoint/Slides).
  • Background in Computer Engineering, IT, or related fields is a plus.
  • Prior internship, academic project, or part-time experience in client support or operations preferred.
  • Basic familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g., JIRA) or CRM systems (e.g., Freshdesk) is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and in teams.
  • Willingness to learn, commit to the internship duration, and work flexible hours if needed.
