Project Manager – Client Onboarding

They observed challenges in candidate experience as well as recruiters having a tough time with a scale and variety of roles and handling various systems – and impress.ai was created.

The Job:

We are looking for a “Project Manager – Client Onboarding”, who will be responsible for leading and managing the seamless onboarding of new clients onto our platform. The ideal candidate should be a strategic thinker and an operational powerhouse, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences and drive successful implementations.


  • Project Management:
    • Oversee the entire client onboarding lifecycle, from pre-boarding to launch and beyond.
    • Develop and execute detailed project plans, including timelines, RAID logs, and resource allocation.
    • Manage and track project milestones, dependencies, and risks, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring clear expectations and alignment.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Partner with clients to understand their unique needs and objectives.
    • Develop customized onboarding plans tailored to each client’s specific requirements.
    • Facilitate client training and knowledge transfer, ensuring they have the skills and resources to leverage the platform effectively.
    • Proactively address client concerns and provide timely and effective solutions. 
  • Process Optimization:
    • Analyze onboarding data and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the onboarding process.
    • Drive innovation and efficiency within the onboarding team.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends and best practices in client onboarding.
  • Proactively identify and recommend new tools and technologies to improve the onboarding experience.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of onboarding documentation and training materials.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives related to client success and platform adoption.

You Bring to the Table:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and delivering on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and iterative development processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Passion for customer success and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
